Blacksmith 101
Blacksmithing 101 is a class that will introduce you to the basic techniques, tools, terminology and processes that are used in blacksmithing. - This is a 1 day class.
Cost: $175
In this class you will learn how to make a Tomahawk. We will discuss the style before starting the class. This class will not only push your forging skills but also you creativity and your design process. At the end of the class you will not just have enough information, experience and knowledge on how to make a Tomahawk from scratch but you will also have a tool that you will be able to rely on and use everyday! - This is a 2 day class
Cost: $299
In this Class you will make a GoMai / SanMai Knife. SanMai - 3 Layers and GoMai translates to 5 layers. You will forge weld 3/5 pieces of metal to create a billet. The Goal is for you to make a knife using the techniques mentioned above to completion. We will wrap the handle with paracord. This is an intense class but you will love it! - This is a 2 day class.

Blacksmith 101
In this class you will learn how to make a full tang knife. This is a 2 day class. On the first day, we will forge the blade from scratch. At the end of day one you will have a knife blank ready to install the handle. On day two we will concentrate on installing the handle and shape it. We will focus on design and ergonomics.

Damascus / Canister 1
Full tang knife
In this class you will learn how to make a Damascus full tang knife. You will learn how to make a Damascus billet by combining layers or by "canister" technique. This is a 3 day class. On the first day, we will forge the blade from scratch. At the end of day one you will have a Damascus billet ready to turn it into a blank. On day two we will focus on creating the knife blank and install the handles. On day three we will shape the handle and finish the blade. We will focus on design and ergonomics. This can be considered an advance class so I recommend to take Blacksmith 101 class first this way you will hit the floor running on this class.
Cost: $450
All classes include all materials and safety equipment. Please wear jeans and leather top shoes such as workboots or hiking shoes. If you would like to wear gloves, please feel free to bring them. I have gloves here but they might not fit you. We will break for lunch around 12:30 for one hour. There are several places where you can go and have lunch. Due to the limit space, we cannot have observers. If you require an accomodation, please let me know as soon as you register. I am sure you will have a blast!
I offer group classes, if you have 5 or more members, the price is $150 per person for the Blacksmith 101 class.
